Lucques opened in 1998 to instant international acclaim.

The first restaurant opened by the duo of 3 time James Beard Award winning chef Suzanne Goin (Who's Who of Food & Beverage in America 2017, Outstanding Chef 2016, Best Chefs in America - California 2006, Best Cookbook - Cooking from a Professional Point of View 2006) and award winning, James Beard nominee sommelier/restaurateur Caroline Styne.

 

Originally the rustic carriage house of the Harold Lloyd Estate, Lucques’ decor of brick, wood beams, garden setting and wood-burning fireplace provides a warm and intimate setting. Goin and Styne have made Lucques a classic in the Los Angeles dining scene, emphasizing simply delicious and indulgent market-driven ingredients, guided by principles of sustainability, and served in a comforting and gracious setting of hospitality.

 

Each week Lucques presents Sunday Suppers -  ever changing three course prix fixe menus showcasing the best of seasonal produce form our local Farmers Markets.  This night was the inspiration behind Goin’s James Beard Foundation award-winning cookbook, Sunday Suppers at Lucques.

 

The now legendary Lucques will celebrate it's 2oth year during the month of September 2018
